TECHNICAL EDITOR

Universe Technical Translations, Inc. is looking for an editor from English into Russian and from Russian into English.

Job Description:

• Manage and coordinate technical translators for document translation and interpretation projects into Russian
• Edit scientific and technical translation
• Ensure proper and correct use of scientific terminology and document consistency
• Provide consultation, assistance and instruction in scientific principles and terminology
• Must be fluent in Russian and English
• Must have excellent communication and writing skills in Russian and English
• Must be proficient in translation memory software

Requirements: Bachelor of either science or linguistics. 5 Year experience as translator/interpreter/editor.

TECHNICAL TRANSLATOR2

Technical documents and other material from one language to the other following established rules pertaining to word meanings, sentence structure, grammar, punctuation. The position requires fluency in Russian and Azerbaijani to translate and facilitate communication for Azerbaijani and Russian Projects. Liaising with clients to discuss the content, scope and approach necessary for each project. Provide quotations according to clients' needs and company goals. Responsible for client satisfaction and review of clients' needs.

Requirements: Bachelor degree with one year experience in job offered.
